Retire or re-instate retired Customer or Supplier accounts

Sometimes the need will arise to retire or re-instate a supplier or customer. Please follow the below steps to do this:

To retire a Customer or Supplier:

  1. Log into Safe Financials and select the relevant company.

  2. Click Purchase/Sales Ledger.

  3. Click Suppliers/Customers.

  4. Find the account you want to retire.

  5. Select it and click the Supplier/Customer Settings tab.

  6. Right-click and select Retire Customer/Supplier.

To re-instate a Customer or Supplier:

  1. Log into Safe Financials and select the relevant company.

  2. Click Purchase/Sales Ledger.

  3. Click Suppliers/Customers.

  4. Click Filter and click the Supplier/Customer tab.

  5. Change the Ignore Retired Accounts option to No.

  6. Find the record you want to re-instate.

  7. Select it and click the Supplier/Customer Settings tab.

  8. Right-click and select Un-Retire Customer/Suppli
