Error - 'Not a valid main location' when entering purchase contracts

This is due to the Location set on the import file being set up as a Remote Location.

To check whether a Location is set up as Remote:

  1. Log into Safe Financials to the Toolbar.

  2. Click Stock Control.

  3. Click Setup.

  4. Select Locations.

  5. Locate (Ctrl + L or the binoculars opens the Locate function) the required Record.

  6. Click the Details tab.

  7. in the Remote Location Of section, check the Main Location field.

  8. If the Remote Location Of / Main Location box is populated then it means that this Location is set up as a Remote of the Main site e.g Manchester Remote 1 might have a Main Location of Manchester. As this is set up as Remote it cannot take Wheat Bookings as it does not exist as a physical Location.

  9. Therefore either a Main site needs to be used or alternatively if it is not a Remote Location then it needs to be set to a Main by removing data in the Main Location field.
