Can't see purchase orders

There could be many different reasons why you cannot see your purchase orders but the most likely cause is your permissions.

To check access to Purchase Orders:

  1. On the Toolbar, click System Admin, User Setup

  2. From the list, find and select the particular user

  3. Click Company

  4. From the list, select Properties, POP

  5. To see where Control settings are defined, click the Main tab.

  6. Access Orders has three options:

    • No restriction : User can see all orders

    • Users Orders : Only orders raised by the user - will not open Orders screen unless it is populated

    • Auth Level : This is tied to the users Security Level, if Access Level on the Access tab is set as Company.

    • For the most part, setting the Access orders option to No restriction, will allow access to view the Purchase Orders.

  7. Changes may also be required to the Allowed Definitions and Allowed Locations fields on the same screen. Setting these two to All should enable you to see Purchase Orders.
