You can retire or restore a user by following the steps below:
Select the relevant company.
Click the System Admin toolbar.
Click the User Setup icon.
Follow one of the steps below:
Retire a user
Select the user to retire.
Click User, then click Retire User.
Note: You can't delete a user permanently. When you retire a user, they're removed from the view. The retired user no longer has access to log on to the application, but the history of items associated with them remains.
View retired users
Click File, then click Filter.
From the Include retired user filter, select to include retired users.
Click Apply.
Retired users are now included in the list, with the word Retired by their usernames.
Restore a user
Select the user to reinstate.
Click User, then click Reinstate User.
Note: The restored user has the same access as before you retired them.
