If you require certain transactions to be removed from the Direct Debit Run you can actually adjust the Schedule tab's status for those transactions.
β
This can be found against accounts enabled for Direct Debit under Sales Ledger, Customers, Transactions, Schedule
Open: These will be picked up by TS0005 (the first part of the Direct Debit process) and a session will be created in the background with a schedule date defined by the Direct Debit run settings
Advised: Either TS0006 has run (this task sends customers the Direct Debit advice letter) or, if this task is not used, the Allocation session is made visible and is awaiting the creation of the payment file.
Progressed: The payment file is created (this is part of scheduled task TS0007) and the transactions are visibly allocated though the allocation session is not committed, it is waiting for TS0008 to run, which will commit this session at the Due Date.
Completed: This is the status once TS0008 has run successfully and the Due Date has past
If the Status of the Direct Debit run is Open, a Supervisor user should be able to right click and delete record. This should remove the Transaction from its current Direct Debit run entirely and allow it to be allocated manually if required.
Many users will also have the ability to 'Discard' a transaction from the run, meaning it is not included but could be switched back in at any time.
If TS0005 is still enabled to run, this transaction will be picked up again automatically and, depending on the direct debit settings within the system, it will be added back to the run or to a later run. So if you wish to exclude this transaction from the Run, you would need to allocate it off.
