If you have transactions on the Direct Debit Schedule that are staying at status Advised despite their Schedule date being today and the scheduled tasks have already ran then it is likely the case the Direct Debit file / Direct Debit BACS file has not generated.
This function is controlled by scheduled task function TS0007, which creates the file based on transactions updated by TS0005. Check the logs on TS0007 by right clicking and selecting View Logs, you might notice that the task was unable to successfully execute due to one of the Accounts on the Direct Debit run not having complete Bank Details.
Once all of the errors in the Logs on TS0007 are addressed, execute the task and the Direct Debit file / Direct Debit BACS file should generate. At this point, you will want to execute TS0008 which will update the status of all transactions that were in the Direct Debit run.
