Safe Financials includes a built-in report in Nominal Ledger called Unbalanced Folio Listings, which shows all nominal entries that do not balance. This may suggest using a one-sided journal to correct the issue. Typically you would never post a one-sided journal, but if a system error has caused a transaction to be posted without all the nominal analysis, follow these steps:
1. Log in to Safe Financials as the **Supervisor** account.
2. Go to **Nominal Ledger**, then **Journals**.
3. Click **Create Record**.
4. Populate the **Template Reference** field with **UNBAL**.
This will allow you to create and post a one-sided journal to the nominal account of your choice.
