Safe Financials comes with a built in report available in Nominal Ledger, Reports called Unbalance Folio Listings, this report will show all Nominal entries that do not balance, this could suggest using a one sided journal to correct.
Typically, you would never post a one sided journal however, if there has been some system error which has caused a transaction to be posted without all of the Nominal analysis, it is possible to post a one sided journal.
To do this:-
1. Log in to Safe Financials as the Supervisor account,
2. Go to Nominal Ledger, then Journals,
3. Click Create Record
4. Populate the Template Reference field with UNBAL
This will allow you to create and post a one sided journal to the nominal account of your choice.
