In the system there is a function that can be set up so that when a new Supplier is created or modified an authorisation is required for it.

This will mean if a new Supplier is created, a pop-up window will appear that allows the User to select an Authoriser from a list to submit this to.

This will stop any Unauthorised changes being made to Suppliers or any Unauthorised Suppliers being created.

To turn the Supplier Authorisation on:
Open Financials to the Toolbar.
Click System Admin, Setup.
Click Company Details.
Click the Purchase tab.
Click the Other tab.
Set Supplier Authorisation On Creation & On Modification as required.
Click Apply to save.
To set a User up to be able to Authorise:
Open Financials to the Toolbar.
Click System Admin, User Setup.
Find and select the relevant User.
Click Company, Properties.
Select the POP tab.
Click the Main tab.
Change Supplier Authorisation to Yes.
Click Apply to save.
To add the user to the list of users that can be selected when submitting for authorisation:
Open Financials to the Toolbar.
Click System Admin, Setup.
Click Email Recipients /User Groups.
Select NEWSUP.
Click the Users tab
Right-click and select Create Record.
Enter the User details.
Click Apply to Save.
