Automatic Events are system generated vents that are raised against the customer account codes for credit control purposes. The available selection options for this facility are detailed in this article.
From the Toolbar Select System Admin.
Click on Setup.
Company Details.
Click on the Sales tab.
Followed by the Events Sub tab.
Changes to the On Stop Status if populated when the On Stop Status is changed on the credit control tab.
Changes to Credit Limits If the credit limit is amended an event will be created stating the new limit.
Credit Review Cycle Notifies the Credit Controller if the credit limit needs to be reviewed based on the date and the associated risk category settings.
On Exceeding the Credit Limit When the credit limit value is exceeded an event will be generated.
First Follow Up Invoice When the first invoice is raised on the account an event can be generated a number of days after the invoice has been sent to follow up the account and ensure there are no problems.
Invoice Query Progression The event code to use as the default when a query category is specified against the event. A default number of follow up days can be entered and the Sales Query Mechanism determines how notification occurs and who it will be controlled by.
