If you are unable to find certain transactions within the Cash Allocation Report or the transaction does not display a subtotal as you would expect then this is probably because of a feature that was added to the report to reduce the number of the same allocation session being output multiple times if it contains multiple payment transactions.
Unfortunately, the report does not order the output by Allocation Session and so multiple Allocation Sessions can be present at the same time which can cause some confusion. The report outputs by ordering the payment transactions by date.
As an example the report may order transactions in the following ways:
Example 1 you'd see Trans 1 and 3 on the report
Trans 1 01/01/2021 - Session A
Trans 2 02/01/2021 - Session A
Trans 3 03/01/2021 - Session B
Example 2 you'd see all three transactions on the report.

Trans 2 02/01/2021 - Session B
Trans 3 03/01/2021 - Session A
