To setup a new VAT Code you will need to follow the steps below:
Log into Safe Financials under your account, or Supervisor
From the Toolbar select System Admin
Then Setup
Select VAT Code
Right Click, Create Record
Here you can enter the relevant Nominal Accounts for the different ledgers alongside the Rate %, Tax Authority and whether the rate is to be used on Inputs, Outputs, Either or Both.
You will need to create a new VAT code for the new government scheme “Eat Out to Help Out”
