Error - 'Locked row'


When trying to process through the system the error ‘Locked Row’ may appear in the bottom left corner. This is normally caused because two people have tried to access the same screen at the same time and this causes a lock.

  • To view which table this relates, look in the bottom right corner of the screen.

  • To resolve the error, have all users close all non-processing windows and get back to the toolbar this should release the lock on the table.

If this does not resolve the issue, please raise a contact us and reference the title of this article. Please include the table shown in the Locked Row error. We can log in and identify the offending session causing the lock and remove it as this may relate to a dead session.

Note: A good policy is to have all users return to the toolbar when leaving for lunch or attend meetings and to log out at the end of the day to reduce the likelihood of locks.
