If a Fixed Asset needs to be Written Off, an Event for this will need to be created..
To create a Fixed Asset Event:
Log into Financials to the Toolbar.
Click Fixed Assets.
Click Assets.
In the top half of the screen, locate the Asset.
Right-click on the Asset and select Create An Asset Event.
Set the Event Type to Write Off.
Select the Proportion as required either Part or Whole.
Enter the Date for the Write Off.
Add when the Period Depreciation will end.
Fill any remaining details and click Apply.
