Raise a batch invoice or transaction

If the transaction type is set to batch posting only, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Safe Financials toolbar.

  2. Click **Sales Ledger**.

  3. Click **Postings**.

  4. Right-click and select **Create Record**.

  5. Enter the **Transaction Type**, dates and **Document Control** if you use that option.

  6. Click **Apply**.

  7. Go to the **Details** tab on the batch you have just created.

  8. Right-click and select **Add Items to the Batch**.

  9. Enter the **Account**, dates and any references required.

  10. On the **VAT** tab, enter the **VAT code** and, if not showing, the **Net Value** and **VAT Value**.

  11. On the **Nominal** tab, enter the **Goods Value**.

  12. Click **Apply** to save.

  13. If you have more than one invoice to add, repeat steps 7 to 12 until you have added all your invoices.

  14. If you use Batch Verification, right-click on the **Batch Details** tab and select **Verify**.

  15. Once you have completed the Verify step, or if you don't have that option switched on, right-click and select **Post**.

  16. The invoices will then be posted to the relevant accounts.
