If a production job has produced more Product by weight than the Materials used, there is obviously an error in the calculation. More than likely the Moisture values are greater than 100%, this can be seen from the Production screen by right clicking the Production Header and selecting Dirty Wheat Calculation.
β
If the moisture value is greater than 100% in this screen that is the reason for the impossible production, this value should not be greater than 100%. Though it is possible that the moisture value is correct and it is Screening or Specific Gravity values that are causing this improper calculation.
β
These attributes are stored against an individual lot of wheat, visible in:
From the Toolbar click Stock Control.
Then click Parts and find the relevant part code and click the Milling tab.
From here find the Lot number of the part that was used in the Production job. However, unless the job is reversed it's likely that wheat lot no longer exists. You will need to reverse the production job to resolve this issue.
β
Once reversed, you need to adjust the Stock Lot attributes using the adjustments screen:
β
To adjust these values:
From the Toolbar click Stock Control.
click Parts and find the relevant part code and click the Adjustments tab.
Then click the Milling subtab.
Select the relevant stock lot and enter the correct Moisture/Screenings/Specific Gravity values as required.
With this Production job reversed and the values against the stock lot corrected, create the job in the Production screen again and it's Product value will be correct and it will update the Stock with that, now correct, value.
