You can create nominal elements and sub-analysis codes from the Safe Financials toolbar. Follow the steps below.

Right-click and select **Create Record**.

Choose the **Element Type** from the drop-down, for example **Sub Analysis**.

Complete the **Analysis Class**, **Analysis Code** and **Description** fields as required.

1. Open the Safe Financials toolbar.
2. Click **Nominal Ledger**.
3. Click **Set up**.
4. Click **Nominal Elements**.
5. Right-click and select **Create Record**.
6. Choose the **Element Type** from the drop-down, for example **Sub Analysis**.
7. Complete the **Analysis Class**, **Analysis Code** and **Description** fields as required.
8. Click **Apply** to save.
